Through 100 years of Lev Borodulin history

In 2018 Hermitage Fine Art had the opportunity to give an exclusive interview with the legend of sports photography Lev Borodulin and his son, the first fashion photographer Alexander Borodulin. Today we are glad to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Lev Borodulin as we had the chance to sold some of his masterpieces. Lev became an engaged photographer after graduation and his first publication took place in 1947 in the student newspaper.
He was the first photographer in the Soviet Union to apply the Fisheye Lens effeсt. In 1964 he was recognized by the "Photography Year Book" as a star world photography.

Paul Chmaroff always felt a connection with his homeland upon emigrating from revolutionary Russia to Paris in 1924. He expressed his reminiscences in a series of genre paintings of peasant life.
