The House of Bolin was a jewellery and silverware firm working in the Russian Empire from the first half of the 19th century until 1917, supplying the Court of His Imperial Majesty. From the 1890s onwards, Bolin was Fabergé’s main competitor and continued to manufacture most of the major pieces of jewellery for the Court. The firm exists today as Jewellers and Silversmiths to HM the King of Sweden.
Konstantin Eduardovich Linke was a silversmith established in Moscow on Kuznetsky Most and working for the Bolin firm. At the beginning of the 20th century, he became a full-time employee of the Bolin factory and headed the silver department.

Kovsh of traditional shape, with engraved Imperial double-headed eagle with the monogram of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, adorned with laurel wreath. The sides engraved with cartouches with dedicatory inscriptions. the prow with double-headed eagle finial, the handle replaced with a later engraved handle centering a medallion of the Empress under a canopy-form border
