The Iverskaya Mother of God is an icon of the Virgin Mary that, according to the sacred tradition of the Eastern Orthodox Church, was painted by Luke the Evangelist, then discovered by the monks and kept in the Georgian Iviron monastery on Mount Athos in Greece. Numerous miracles have been attributed to the intercession of the Iverskaya Mother of God.
