Lot 721 (Archive of letters of Russian Ambassador in Spain) and
Lot 722 (Princess Tarakanova Archive of letters) are not present at HERMITAGE FINE ART premises. In the event the abovementionned lots were to be sold during the auction, the owner of the lots will arrange the shipment.
The Bailiff and/or the Organizer reserves the right to suspend the auction and/or the execution of the sale at any time for, but not limited to, the following reasons:
Lot 722 (Princess Tarakanova Archive of letters) are not present at HERMITAGE FINE ART premises. In the event the abovementionned lots were to be sold during the auction, the owner of the lots will arrange the shipment.
The Bailiff and/or the Organizer reserves the right to suspend the auction and/or the execution of the sale at any time for, but not limited to, the following reasons:
- The request of a State and/or a bank institution;
- In the event of a doubt regarding the origin of the funds used to purchase a Lot requesting additional research;
- In the event of a doubt regarding the origin and the authenticity of a Lot.

жизни дореволюционной России. Коллекция тщательно формировалась на протяжении десятков лет, предметы, вошедшие в её состав, имеют исключительно выдающийся провенанс, большая часть из них приобреталась на крупнейших аукционах по всему миру. Так, на торгах представлены лоты из
собрания легенды мирового балета, Сержа Лифаря, а также нейрохирурга, академика А.В. Бондарчука. Историко-культурная значимость подобных манускриптов не вызывает ни малейших сомнений.

Архив документов, представленный на торги, это уникальнейшее собрание посланий русских дипломатов и государственных деятелей, адресатом которых был С.С. Зиновьев в период выполнения своей миссии в Испании. Среди его корреспондентов были: Х. Флоридабланка, первый министр при дворе испанских королей Карла III и Карла IV, О.М. Штакельберг, предыдущий посланник в Мадриде, А.М. Голицын, Д.М. Голицын, И.С. Барятинский, граф Нессельроде, И.А. Остерман, П.В. Бакунин и другие.
Часть манускриптов на французском языке, поскольку к середине XVIII века французский вошел в практику Коллегии иностранных дел России как официальный язык переписки.
Вероятно, все эти документы архива С.С. Зиновьева обнародуются впервые, а потому имеют невероятный источниковедческий потенциал и культурологическую значимость.

EXPORT of PURCHASES (from General terms and conditions)
16.1. In view of the Customs Union existing between France and Monaco, any exports outside the Principality of Monaco are subject to the rules and regulations applicable in France.16.2. Depending on the export destination and on their nature, certain lots may require an export licence and/or a certificate in order to be released to the buyer, which the buyer must obtain from the competent authorities.
16.3. Any lot coming from the Customs Union or benefiting from a temporary importation, if it remains in the Customs Union, may be removed upon presentation of a proof of payment of the Purchase Price.
16.3.1. If the Buyer intends to export the Lot outside of the Customs Union, it will be up to him to perform all the necessary procedures and formalities required by the applicable law.
Please be advised that after the fall of the auctioneer's hammer, the buyer is fully responsible for his lots, including the shipment and the execution of all necessary procedures and formalities required by the laws in force (both in Monaco/France and in the country of destination). The packaging is carried out entirely at the buyer’s risk.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for checking and fulfilling all conditions for the transportation of the acquired lots to the final destination, including but not limited to checking the import status of the lots, and the applicable regulations for importation at the destination.
Certain lots require an export license and/or a certificate in order to be released to the buyer, depending on the export destination and the lot’s category (see reference table Tableau comparatif des définitions de biens culturels UE-FR for cultural goods), which will need to be requested by the buyer to the concerned authorities.
Further, for certain lots painting and manuscripts, customs formalities might be required.
