Private collection, Europe Alexey Kravchenko is a leading Russian graphic artist, a master of book illustration and exlibris, and an educator. Director of the Radishchev Museum in Saratov, later based in Moscow as a master of woodcut, etching, and linocut. Influenced by Cézanne, his landscapes and graphics, blending Romanticism and expressionism, became Soviet art classics. Member of 'Four Arts,' awarded Grand Prix at the 1925 Paris Expo.
