A pair of sumptuously decorated Turkish pistols with int locks, produced in England by « H.W.MORTIMER », the court gunsmith of the English king. The length of the rst pistol is 45 cm; barrel length - 27.1 cm; caliber - 1.6 cm; the total length of the second gun is 45.4 cm; barrel length - 27.1 cm; caliber - 1.55 cm. The barrel is steel, smooth, round in cross section, faceted in the breech, with unregulated front sight and entirely in the form of a slot in the shank.The top part of the barrel is decorated with a full-length gilded oral ornament (modern restoration). In the breech of the barrel above there is an inscription: “London". The silicon lock, battery-type, is fastened to the body with two screws; from the outside it has a gured relief plate with a relief image of military trophies and banners. There is an engraving of the name of the master of the manufacturer: "MORTIMER LONDON" on a gilded background. The body of pistols is nutty, carved, richly decorated with oriental-type oral ornaments, inlaid with silver threads and owers, which are covered with green and red enamel in a later period. The ramrod is wooden. The trigger brace is gured, ornamented with war trophies, has elongated needles, in the lower part of which is a text in Arabic.
