A naval of cer’s broadsword based on the sample of 1855 with the inscription « For Bravery » and the badge of Order of Saint Anne of the IV degree,
« Anninsky weapon », with a lanyard and suspension.
Overall length - 98.5 cm; blade length - 81 cm; blade width at the heel - 2.7 cm. The blade is steel, straight, single-edged, without dole. The outside of the blade is decorated with an engraved monogram of the Emperor Nicholas II of Russia - “N II” under the imperial crown,
the inside is engraved with the coat of arms of the Russian Empire. The heel of the blade is clearly distinguished by the stamp of the famous German blade manufacturer - Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co Solingen, making it a custom-made blade in Germany.
The hilt consists of a handle and brass gilded guard. The handle is wooden, covered with leather and wrapped in transverse grooves with twisted brass wire. The inscription “FOR COURAGE” is af xed on the two side arms. In the center of the cross on both sides are at hexagonal brass plates. A miniature badge of Order of Saint Anna of the IV degree is set on the outer cover. All brass hilt elements are gilded. Leather sheath, with a brass device. The leather of the scabbard has a slight wear. Original lanyard (ribbon). Suspension marine, later period.
