Russian infantry gun with intlock sample of 1774.
Overall length - 143.4 cm; barrel - 104.8 cm; caliber - 1.87 cm.
The gun consists of a stock, a barrel, a intlock and a brass instrument. Steel ramrod. Rear swivel - at the trigger guard. The barrel is steel, smooth, round in cross section. As a sighting device, the gun is equipped with a brass front sight on the front ring and entirely as a recess in the shank of the barrel. The trigger guard is brass, gured, fastened with a screw. The trigger is xed on the axis (transverse pin).Flint lock, shock type is xed in the box with two screws. There is a stamp of the Tula Arms Plant and the year of issue “Tula 1798” on the lock plate on the front side. The hook guard is xed on the lock plate. In addition to the name of the manufacturer and year of manufacture, there are other markings on the weapon, as well as technological stamps:“PIP”; - «No 9” on the barrel.
