Russian Eger Ri e, sample 1798. Overall length - 101 cm; barrel - 65.8 cm; caliber - 1.82 cm. The ri e consists of a stock, a barrel, a intlock and a brass instrument. A ri e box is made of brown wood (birch, walnut). Steel ramrod. The barrel is steel, octahedral, threaded, with 8 grooves. As an aiming device, the nozzle on the upper edge of the barrel is equipped with a brass front sight and enti- rely formed by three brass larvae in the form of a crescent of different height. The trigger is xed on the axis (transverse pin). Flint lock, shock type is xed in the box with two screws. There is a stamp of the Tula Arms Plant and the year of issue «Tula 1798». The butt plate is brass with a long curved needle. In addition to the name of the manufacturer and year of manufacture, there are other markings on the weapon, as well as technological stamps: on the barrel in the breech to the left are intertwined handwritten letters “FP”; on the sleeve - «DM» in a square.
