Vladimir Aleksandrovich Beklemishev He was a sculptor and a rector of the Imperial Academy of Arts.
He was born in Dniepro into an old noble family. He received his first training in Kharkov and in 1878 he moved to St Petersburg where he entolled into Imperial Academy of Arts.
