The Pairpoint Manufacturing Company was built next door to Mount Washington. The two companies officially merged in 1894 to unite the art of glassmaking and silversmithing. With a history of producing glass of the highest quality, examples of Pairpoint's timeless designs can be found in over 30 museums in the United States, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
