Twenty-five copies numbered from 1 to 25 on Arches vellum and eight hundred and fifty copies numbered from 26 to 875 on Annecy tinted vellum. The 4 original etchings engraved on copper by Maurice de VLAMINCK were printed by Imprimerie d'Art V.Jacquemin on the theme of country landscapes. The 24 phototypeset reproductions are by Anciens Établissements Le Deley, Paris. 23 x 16.5 x 1 cm Georges Duhamel French doctor, writer and poet. Made famous by his writing of Civilisation and the Chronique des Pasquiers, he was elected a member of the Académie française in 1935 and served as its permanent secretary from 1944 to 1946. Maurice de Vlaminck, pseudonym of Maurice Edmond Devlaeminck (1876-1958) French painter, ceramist, engraver and writer. He distinguished himself in the Fauvist and Cubist movements.
