Vintage gelatine-silver print bearing the stamp of the Dalmas agency 27 x 21 cm Edward Quinn was born 1920 in Ireland and lived and worked as a photographer on the Côte d’Azur during the “Golden Fifties”, when the region was the place to be for celebrities from the world of show biz, art and business. The rich and famous came to the Riviera to relax, and Quinn was in the right place at the right time: he was able to capture spontaneous and glamorous photographs that documented the charm and sophistication of this legendary era.
