Fine Autograph letter from Talleyrand before returning to England (like Ambassador of France in London), in which he details his agenda before returning to London. “I am giving up on my trip in Valencay, and I will go directly to Paris from here, where I will have the businessman from Valencay come and where I will wait for the King’s orders. Seven days in Paris after two years and one water season do not seem to me to as hurting or breaking the strictest or rigorous duty.”
