Benedikt Shmulevich Dukelsky-Dikler (1886 - after 1940) was a poet of the Silver Age and of the Russian emigration and a cousin of the famous Futurist poet Benedikt Livshits. He lived in France; all trace of him is lost after 1940. His collection ‘Sonnets’ entered literary history largely thanks to a scathing review by the young Vladimir Nabokov, who called Dukelsky’s verse an ‘illiterate jumble of words’ and ‘helpless clichés’. First edition.
