Kutepov consists of two parts. The first, from 1922 to early April 1927, was the attempt by Kutepov’s followers to infiltrate Russia and gain a foothold there in order to fight actively against the communist dictatorship that had enslaved their homeland, and the opposition to this attempt by the Chekists and their tool, the so-called Trust. The second, from July 1927 to the kidnapping of A.P. Kutepov in Paris on 26 January 1930, was marked by several successful military operations on Russian territory and the death of most of their participants...’ (from the author’s preface). Sergei Lvovich Voytsekhovsky (1900-1984) was a publicist and public figure of the White emigration. The book includes memoirs and documents and testimonies of participants in the events connected on the one hand with General Kutepov’s armed struggle against the Bolsheviks and on the other with the activities of the ‘Trust’, the provocative organisation known as the ‘Monarchist Union of Russia’. The Trust’s activities led to the deaths of many Russian White officers, including Generals Miller and Kutepov. First edition.
