Roland Saint-Hubert is a Haitian painter associated with the second generation of artists from the Artibonite School. Renowned for his richly detailed compositions and vibrant palette, he depicts scenes of everyday Haitian life, lush tropical landscapes, and imaginative architectural settings. He is particularly celebrated for his recurring ’serpent woman’ figures—mythical female protagonists whose intertwined human and serpentine forms evoke mystery, transformation, and the rich imaginative traditions of Haitian culture. His works have been exhibited internationally and are represented in numerous private collections.
