This collection effectively became the first collective manifesto of the Eurasians — a movement that emerged in the 1920s (its publications spanning from 1920 to 1937). Recognising the crisis of contemporary European culture, the Eurasians viewed Russia as a distinct world, embodying a developing Orthodox culture fundamentally different from both European and Asian traditions.
A celebrated Eurasianist publication. A rarity with the publisher’s cover preserved.
