Minor wear to the corners. Ownership stamp ‘B. Werner’ on the first page. From November 1924 the children’s magazine ‘Vorobey’ was issued under the title ‘Novyy Robinson’. The nominal editor was Z.I. Lilina, while the actual editor was S.Ya. Marshak, who was not even formally listed as a member of the editorial staff. The editorial board included members of Marshak’s literary circle, founded in 1922 at the Library of the Institute of Preschool Education: B. Zhitkov, V. Bianki, O. Kapitsa, E. Privalova.
