The last lifetime collection of poems by Osip Mandel’shtam (1891–1938), published ten years before his death. Subsequently, his works appeared only in periodicals. The volume is divided into three sections: ‘Kamen’’, ‘Tristia’, and ‘1921–1925’, with poems in the third section published here for the first time.

Provenance:
Mikhail Arkad’evich Vershvovskiy (1935–2020), Soviet and Russian writer, prose author and poet. In the early 1970s a member of the literary association ‘Tsarskosel’skaya lira’. Also an important collector of Russian painting of the 19th–20th centuries and contemporary Russian art, including works by the Peredvizhniki, representatives of the Russian avant-garde, Leningrad underground artists, and graduates of the Leningrad Academy of Arts and the Mukhina Institute of Applied Art.
