He has designed and created watches for the biggest names in modern luxury watchmaking, including IWC, Omega, Universal Genève, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. Described by Christie’s as the ‘Fabergé of watches’, Gérald Genta has created numerous iconic watch models: the Constellation for Omega (1959), the Golden Ellipse for Patek Philippe (1968), the Royal Oak for Audemars Piguet (1972), the Ingenieur for IWC (1976), the Nautilus for Patek Philippe (1976), and the Pasha de Cartier (1985).
