Richard Durand-Togni, born in Buenos Aires in 1910, was an Argentine painter. He spent much of his life in Italy and France, settling permanently in the latter in 1934. He enjoyed significant international recognition throughout his artistic career, notably receiving the International Grand Prix for Painting in 1968, which cemented his reputation in the art world. Durando-Togo’s works are characterised by their diversity of subjects, including portraits, still lifes, genre scenes, and seascapes.
