signed with a stamp 'NG' (lower right), dated '1935' (upper right) pencil on paper (on the back of a menu from the restaurant 'Au petit Saint-Benoit') 27 x 21 cm executed in 1935 Provenance: Collection of Michel HOOG (1932-2000), curator at the Musée National d'Art Moderne who, in the early 1960s, took a particular interest in archives and undertook extensive research into the Russian artists of the École de Paris, becoming one of the leading specialists on Larionov. He helped Mikhail Larionov's widow to transfer some of the artist's documents to the Museum.
