Moses Solomonovich Nappelbaum (1869-1958) was a Soviet photographer who created his own creative style of studio portrait photography. He was the author of photographic portraits of V.I. Lenin, many Soviet statesmen, as well as writers, poets, musicians, and artists of the 1920s and 1930s. The book was compiled by Ilya Ezrovich Rudyak (1939-2020), a director, screenwriter, owner of a bookstore in Chicago, and collector.
