Petr Arkadyevich Stolypin (1862-1911) was a statesman, reformer, and one of the most famous politicians during the reign of Emperor Nicholas II.
The book contains a number of excerpts from speeches by P.A. Stolypin, delivered mainly in the legislative chambers, with comments by his son, Arkady Stolypin, who later became a French writer and publicist.
