22 original colour woodcuts, titled and signed, representative works of flowers and animals, and 1 page of typographic text with a woodcut portrait, at his drawing table, of the Elder Baishi by Ye Qianyu and a brief biography of Qi Baishi. Preserved in its original paper sleeve with title 31.5 x 21.5 cm Double-leaf leporello comprising 46 sheets, bound in two cardboard covers covered with ornamental coloured and gold brocade silk and mounted with title label “Qi Baishi hua ji, Baishi ti”. Colour woodcuts produced using the mosaic printing process by the famous Rongbaozhai printing house in Beijing, based on paintings by Qi Baishi, one of the most important Chinese painters of the 20th century.
