signed ‘Le Prince’ (lower right); label of the Donop de Monchy collection n°101 (on the reverse) oil on panel 23.7 x 43.7 cm Provenance : Collection of Eugène Donop de Monchy and his wife Victorine, the son-in-law and daughter of Georges de Bellio (1828-1894), a famous lover of Impressionist paintings, but also a collector of prints, paintings, pastels and drawings by French, Italian and Flemish masters. The numbers in the centre of the circular stamp ‘Donop de Monchy’ on the reverse of the works correspond to those in Bellio's collection inventory. Private collection, South of France
