The Almighty Lord or Pantocrator is the central image in the iconography of Christ, representing him as the Almighty King. The Saviour is depicted at the waist, with the Gospel in his left hand and his right hand in a gesture of blessing.
Abrosimov Pyotr Evstratovich, goldsmith, supplier to the Russian Imperial Court, owner of a factory of gold, silver and bronze objects, founded in 1869 and known until 1908. The works of Pyotr Abrosimov's workshop are preserved in the Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. As well as decorative silver objects, Abrosimov was known for his icon’s oklads finely worked, with meticulous attention to detail.
