signed in pencil 'AB and 1934' (lower right), inscribed and numbered in pencil ‘Le Petit Orchestre’ watercolour and pencil on paper executed in 1934 30 x 22.7 cm Diane de Poitiers, a ballet by Jacques Ibert, was choreographed by Michel Fokine and produced by Ida Rubinstein’s company at the Grand Opera, Paris in 1934, with sets and costumes designed by Alexandre and Nicholas Benois.
