Kuzmin/29 January 1966/ Moscow’ (lower right), titled in Cyrillic ‘Ataman Platov (‘Levsha’)’ (upper left) ink on paper 24.7 x 19 cm Kuzmin Nikolai Vasilyevich was a Soviet graphic artist, illustrator of works of Russian and foreign classical literature, member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. He was a pupil of Bilibin and Shillingovsky.
