Jean Burkhalter was a French decorator, designer of fabrics, cutlery and silverware, painter on canvas and paper, author of frescoes and teacher of drawing and pictorial composition. He is also known as one of the founders of the UAM (“Union des Artistes Modernes”) with Sonia Delaunay, Jean Fouquet and others.
