signed, titled, dated, located ‘Grenoble 1965/Mannel/La Ville’ (on the reverse) oil on canvas 54 x 73 cm painted in 1965 Dietrich Mannel, a German painter influenced by Paul Klee and Kandinsky, was a student of the painter Paul Franck in Belgium from 1963 to 1965. He was also the author of numerous collages close to the situationist spirit and of drawings often of surrealist spirit.
