Nikolai Alexeyevich Tuchkov (1765–1812) was a Lieutenant General in the Russian army, commander of an infantry corps, and the eldest of four brothers who fought in the Patriotic War of 1812.
Hero of the Patriotic War of 1812. In 1807, he took part in the Russo-Prussian-French War.
Count Charles-André Pozzo di Borgo (1764–1842) was a Corsican-born French and later Russian military and political figure, a distant relative and sworn enemy of Napoleon. Longer than anyone else in history, he served as Russian ambassador to France from 1814 to 183, and later headed the Russian embassy in London from 1835 to 1839.
