marked 'C Leberecht f' obverse: bust of Alexander I, legend in Cyrillic 'Aleksander I IMP. VSEROSS. 1807' reverse: legend 'Za Veru I Otechestvo - Zemskomu Voysku' silver D. 2.8 cm gross weight: 11.45 gr. This medal was established in 1807. Silver medals were awarded to the militia rank-and-file who took part in battles, gold medals were awarded to all officers. By 1812, 2,220 silver and 6,145 gold medals had been issued.
