Sokolov’ (lower left) watercolour on paper 62.5 x 47 cm Vladimir Sokolov is the son of the artist Nikolaï Aleksandrovitch Sokolov, one of the members of the famous creative collective KUKRYNIKSY. The deep cultural traditions cultivated in this remarkable family, the excellent artistic taste inculcated by years of education, and the high-level professional skills acquired after graduating from an institute of higher education, have all contributed to the fact that Sokolov, in his work, invariably upholds true artistic values.
