Tatiana Bruni (1902-2001) worked all her life as a theatre artist. She taught in the production department of the Leningrad State Theatre Institute. Bruni is one of the greatest masters of theatrical decorative art of the 20th century. At the start of his career, Tatiana quickly made a name for herself as one of the leading representatives of the new school of Leningrad stage designers, such as N. P. Akimov and V. M. Khodasevich. Bruni’s works can be found in numerous museums and private collections, including the National Tretyakov Gallery, the National Theatre Museum, the Mariinsky Theatre Museum and others.
