A gifted pianist and muse, she hosted a famed salon that brought together leading artists, writers, and musicians—including Renoir, Proust, Cocteau, Diaghilev, and Stravinsky. Closely linked to the Ballets Russes, she was both a confidante and financier to Serge Diaghilev, playing a crucial role in the development of modernist performance and aesthetics.
