Hallmarks: silver standard mark ‘84’, master’s mark in Cyrillic ‘A. Bragin’, assay master’s mark in Cyrillic ‘A.S’ above the date ‘1895’ H. total 9.5 cm, diameter 22.5 cm 1,929 gr. Condition: small dent inside Andrey Stepanovich Bragin (1852-1908) was one of the most respected and experienced silversmiths in St. Petersburg. Although Bragin’s workshop was relatively small, its silverware was highly valued for its excellent quality and exquisite design. The company produced a wide range of silverware, including tableware, cutlery, decorative items, kitchenware and samovars.
