From the compiler: "The book offered is based on genuine documents, mostly unpublished to this day, collected by the Temporary Government's Extraordinary Commission for investigating illegal actions by former ministers. The book, in a somewhat abbreviated form, was printed in the journal 'Byloe' No. 15 (marked with the year 1919, published in 1921) under the title 'The Last Days of the Old Regime'."
