The edition was dedicated to the anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. 18 sheets of illustrations were created by artists Kseniya Leonidovna Boguslavskaya (1892-1971), Vladimir Ivanovich Kozlinsky (1891-1967), Sergey Nikolaevich Makletsov, and Ivan Albertovich Puni (1892-1956). "This folder developed in the future into a full revolutionary poster. For us, the main thing is the 'Rosta windows of satire' (V. Mayakovsky, 'Not Just Memories')."
It is a great rarity, especially in a complete set.
Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky (1893-1930) was a Russian and Soviet poet, playwright, screenwriter, film director, actor, and artist. He is one of the most significant Russian poets of the 20th century, a classic of Soviet literature. He was the editor of the journals "LEF" and "Novy LEF."
