Henry Barraud A French composer and musicographer, he was appointed musical director of the Radiodiffusion française in 1944, and founded the Maîtrise de Radio France. He went on to become director of the national broadcaster RTF and then ORTF, until his retirement in 1965. A defender of the widespread diffusion of contemporary music of all kinds.
