The mother of the future Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich, as a result of a conspiracy, is exiled to the Karelia region. A wandering monk helps her endure the exile, introducing her to the mythology and everyday life of Karelia and recounting the divine miracles occurring in the area. A.S.
