In its original slipcase. 36.5 x 26.5 x 4 cm Provenance : Private collection, South of France Robert Pillods, a French painter, is a committed artist from the Montbéliard region. Alongside his secular work, a large part of his oeuvre is devoted to putting the Bible into images. In 1951, he moved to Paris as an artist. He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon d'Automne and several galleries in Paris, Basel, Casablanca and Barcelona. Pierre Emmanuel, a literary pseudonym that became the legal surname of Noël Jean Mathieu French writer, journalist, poet and essayist, elected to the Académie française in 1968. Chairman of the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel from 1975. He designed the Vidéothèque de Paris and the Maison de la Poésie.
