There, he attended the Académie de la Palette and met artists including Marie Laurencin and Albert Gleizes. Throughout his career, Charchoune engaged with Cubism, abstraction, and representational painting. In the early 1920s, he aligned himself with the Dada movement, exhibiting in Paris and Berlin while contributing extensively to Modernist publications.
