The third part of the poem was read by Mayakovsky in the editorial office of the journal 'Letopis' in the presence of M. Gorky and accepted for publication in the journal. However, the military censorship banned it, and in issue No. 9 of the journal, it is listed among the works that 'cannot be printed due to circumstances beyond the control of the editorial office.' Public readings of the poem were also impossible. Only after the revolution did Mayakovsky manage to publicly read and publish it. (Mayakovsky V.V. Collected Works: in 13 vol. Moscow, 1955-1961. Vol. 1). The meaning of the title in the old orthography: 'mir' as the universe. Bibliography: Turchinsky. P. 344; Rozanov. No. 3343.
