Petr Vasilyevich Khavsky (1771-1876) - historian and jurist, author of works on genealogy and history of Moscow. In the 1830s he began to publish articles on chronology and published the reference book "Chronological Tables in Three Books", for which he received a half Demidov Prize in 1849. "Chronological tables" were the fruit of twelve years of labour and had the purpose "to give a way to chronologists and historians, without any calculations on formulas of arithmetic and algebra, directly in tables to find all subjects belonging to the Julian calculation of time, civil and church orthodox confession, equally to learn all numbers and meanings of the terminology introduced for the indication of time in Russian annals".
