Elizabeth Mikhailovna (1826-1845) was the daughter of Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich and Grand Duchess Elena Pavlovna, and the granddaughter of Emperor Paul I, and the niece of Emperor Nicholas I. In 1844, she married Duke Adolphus Wilhelm of Nassau. At the age of 18, Elizabeth Mikhailovna passed away during childbirth along with her newborn daughter.
