Thanking on behalf of the President of the Republic (Georges Pompidou, Presidency 1969-1974) for the condolences expressed following the death of General de Gaulle. 1 p. on «Présidence de la République» headed paper, In French. Gérard Chasseguet, chargé de mission at the Presidency of the Republic (1969-1973) President Pompidou abolished the post of director of the cabinet that had existed under General de Gaulle and placed Anne-Marie Dupuy, his former chief of staff at Matignon, at the head of the cabinet, who retained the same title. The mail service was directed, under the authority of Anne-Marie Dupuy, by Gérard Chasseguet, who was in charge of the General Secretariat of the Presidency from June 1969 to March 1973.as in charge of the General Secretariat of the Presidency from June 1969 to March 1973.
