In a full-leather "English" binding with silver embossing on the upper cover. Publisher's engraved covers preserved. In good condition. Minor restoration. The second edition of the poem. Censorship permission was granted on June 9, 1827, censor - Ivan Snegirev. On the back cover - "Price 42 kopecks." The second edition of "The Robber Brothers" was released on June 22, 1827, but was not put on sale, except for a small number of copies. Copies of this edition that rarely appeared on the antiquarian market of the 19th century were considered bibliographic rarities. In 1915, 900 copies were discovered, almost the entire "stock" of the second edition of "The Robber Brothers." According to N.P. Smirnov-Sokolsky, in late 1830 and the first half of 1831, "...Sobolevsky and Pushkin, deciding to preserve the edition, themselves transported it to Ivan Kirievsky's warehouse," where they remained for over 80 years.
