Ivan Ivanovich Tkhorzhevsky (1878-1951) - poet, master of artistic translation, literary critic, social and political figure, actual Civil Councillor, chamberlain. He was one of the closest associates of Witte and Petr Stolypin. In December 1920 he emigrated to Paris. He collaborated in the newspapers « Vozrozhdenie», « Rossiya», magazines « Illustrirovannaya Rossiya», «Teatr i Zhizn», « Chasovoy», etc. In 1922 he was initiated into Masonry in the Russian Parisian lodge « Astrea « No. 500 of the Grand Lodge of France. Then he was one of the founders of the Russian lodges «Hermes» #558 (1924) and «Jupiter» #536 (1926).
